Lead Project Manager, Business & Economic Development
Roxann Fry joined the company in April 2021. She is responsible for managing LG&E and KU’s economic development team and implementing the group's strategies and programs.
Before joining the company, Fry spent 13 years with the Tennessee Valley Authority, serving as senior consultant in west Kentucky, middle and east Tennessee. She held a number of roles on the economic development team and was responsible for business attraction and retention efforts, project management, site selection, product/site development, incentives negotiations, marketing and communications, business, community and government relations. Prior to TVA, Fry was Director of Economic Development-Client Solutions at Greater Louisville Inc.
Fry earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance and political science from Georgetown College and a master’s degree in sports marketing and management from the United States Sports Academy. She is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).
As a member of Kentucky Association for Economic Development, Southern Economic Development Council and the International Economic Development Council, Fry is able to share her passion for the profession with peers and stakeholders alike, working to improve quality of life region wide.
Fry is a Kentucky native and proud to be part of a fifth-generation farming family. As an avid antique collector, she enjoys traveling to small towns across America. In her personal life, she likes to create various arts and crafts, enjoys playing piano and spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
